A 100 % check of mass-produced parts
|

|
Often a cheap bulk article like a connecting element or a roller body is the reason for the failure of a motor, a gear or any other automobile component. In most cases, these bulk parts are not correctly heat-treated or even not heat-treated at all or they have surface cracks as a result of the forming process. A 100 % test is the only way to guarantee that exclusively OK parts are used for manufacturing of such components. This test must be reliable, quick and economic - and this can be realised by eddy current.

Needles for needle bearings are tested for cracks with the eddydector. Here the test rate is also 36,000parts/hour (refer to picture 2). And there will also be a solution to ensure that your bulk parts fulfil safety requirements - please contact the manufacturer.
